My New Year’s Resolutions
I read a blog post that my sister wrote a few weeks ago which was all about what her new year’s resolutions were. After having a read, I felt inspired to write my own list of new year’s resolutions too.
Now, I’m not saying that I’ll be sticking to all these resolutions, but by writing them down it certainly gives me some inspiration and perhaps some motivation to stick to them.
My first resolution is to continue to eat healthier, in addition to exercising. I’ve written about my progress on my blog and so far so good, so I hope to continue this into the New Year and who knows this time next year, I might have reached my goal weight.

My second resolution, (these are in no particular order by the way), is to be more mindful in my approach to parenting. To shout less, to be more involved and to be more considerate towards my children’s feelings.
My third resolution is to spend less time on my phone. This is a resolution that I think I make every year, but with the start of a new year comes new inspiration! By spending less time on my phone, I’m hoping to spend more time with both my children and my husband.
My fourth resolution is to be more open and willing to trying new things. Maybe going on a day trip with the kids or doing something I’ve never done before. If you have any ideas or suggestions let me know!
My fifth and last resolution is to put more effort into my blog. I always make sure I have a new post on my blog every day, but sometimes I forget about the social side of things. Of course, I schedule tweets every day so that something is tweeted out every hour, but I rarely engage in, or strike up conversations with others on social media. This might be a bit of a tricky resolution when you consider that I’m also making a resolution to spend less time on my phone, so we’ll see how this goes!
What New Year’s resolutions do you have?
