My favourite songs of all times

March 15, 2016

It’s funny how a song can have such an impact on your life. You may be sat in your car, bedroom or walking down an aisle in a supermarket when your favourite song starts to play and suddenly you’re taken back in time to one of your favourite moments. All because of a song. Whether or not the lyrics are relevant is irrelevant because just the sound of the guitar strumming or the singers voice can bring back many fond memories.

I have a number of songs that are special to me for various reasons. I don’t have a specific genre that’s my favourite. I find that I like all types of music, wether it be rock, pop, opera or classical. I really don’t have a preference! In fact, a lot of talented musicians who create songs for people tend to have the power to be able switch genres effortlessly

James Blunt is one of my favourite artists and a number his of songs such as Wisemen, You’re Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover, remind me of the time when I met my husband. We’d often drive down to the beach front and sit in the car with James Blunt playing on the cd player whilst we looked out onto the sandy beach and sea.

My husband also just happens to a big fan of music. I used to listen to music a lot in my bedroom when I was a teenager, but I don’t tend to listen to it as much nowadays. My husband, however, likes to keep up with all of the latest chart songs. He always uses iTunes to download music. He plays the music to our twin girls on his speaker and it’s so much fun watching them all dance around our living room! Of course, I like to join in too!
Another favourite of both my husband and I is Guns ‘n’ Roses. Our favourites include, Sweet Child O’ Mine, November Rain, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door and Live and Let Die.

Did you know that you can actually play some Guns ‘n’ Roses themed games online here, Gunsnroses-slot.co.uk. The things you can find on the internet!

Two of my favourite artists are Whitney Houston and Diana Ross. My mum always used to listen them and I remember hearing her signing along whilst cleaning the house!

Some of her favourites were, I Will Always Love You, I Have Nothing, I’m Every Woman, I Will Survive, Missing you.

What are your favourite songs and why?

Loved this. I love a bit of Whitney Houston. I wrote a blog post of my 10 favourite songs but then annoyed myself by missing a few out so had to do another. Music is SO important.
