My Enchanted Mirror – Video Review

August 25, 2015
This review opportunity arrived at the perfect time for me.

Our twin girls, R and M, are really into Beauty and the Beast at the moment. It’s my favourite Disney film of all time and if you’re a fan too then you’ll know that the Beast has a magic mirror that will show him anything he wants to see!

When I first told our girls about My Enchanted Mirror they instantly thought of the mirror from Beauty and the Beast!

My Enchanted Mirror is the perfect gift for your little princess! Made by SAMBRO, I’m sure it’ll be on every little girls Christmas wish list this year!

Rather than writing a post about My Enchanted Mirror, I thought the best way to review it would be to create a video review. That way you’ll get a good look at exactly how it works, what it sounds like and what it looks like.

Just to give you some information, My Enchanted Mirror is a pretty pink hand-held mirror which plays four magical games.

You can ask the enchanted mirror questions and the mirror will understand and respond as if by magic!

Ask the mirror, ‘Do I look pretty today?’ and she’ll reply, ‘You are gorgeous! You look like a real princess.’

You can ask up to 10 different questions and you can also find out which kind of princess are you. My Enchanted Mirror will ask you lots of questions about yourself and after 10 questions they will tell you what kind of princess you are. Little girls will love to hear which one of 20 princesses they are most like.

If you ask My Enchanted Mirror to sing she will serenade her audience with three different songs. My Enchanted Mirror can also read one of 10 stories so she’ll be sure to keep little girls entertained for hours on end.

As well as providing lots of magical fun, My Enchanted Mirror is the perfect accompaniment to role-play.

My Enchanted Mirror priced at around £20 and is available from Smyths, Toys R Us, Debenhams, Very and leading independents.

Overall Impressions

I love My Enchanted Mirror!

I was genuinely surprised at how responsive it is to the questions I asked. It understand everything I said and was really easy to use. I can see girls playing with My Enchanted Mirror for hours on end. It’s the sort of toy that I would have loved when I was a little girl.

I really liked the little booklet that came with it which has 20 different types of princesses in it.

Overall, I think £20 is a very, very reasonable price for My Enchanted Mirror. Very impressed!

For the purpose of this review we were sent two My Enchanted Mirrors. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

Hi Hannah, thanks for your comment. I would have loved this when I was a little girl too! Thankfully I can still play with it when my girls aren't watching! x
