Mojo Box Review by Fred’s Box

February 15, 2017

I love the idea of a good subscription box. A little special something that gets delivered straight to your door once a month. It’s a nice treat and something to look forward to.

Fred’s Box is exactly that. It’s a subscription service for children. They send your kids a box each month containing mini figures that they can play with and add to their collection. My girls love a good collection so for them this really is a great idea!

They were sent a twins medium sized mojo box to review which contains 12 custom made mini figures. The wonderful thing about these mini figures is that they’re compatible with all leading brands of building blocks so they can be used with any existing items you may have.

I also like that with the twins box you can chose their gender (2 boys, 2 girls, boy and girl), plus you can chose whether you want the children to have the same mini figures or different ones.

As mentioned above this is a subscription service, but you can also order a one off box with a handwritten greetings card.

I love that the box was addressed directly to our girls. Their faces lit up when they saw post with their names on it!I really like that the boxes are small enough to fit through your letter box, so you never have to worry about missing a delivery.

Inside our mojo box were the following mini figures:

  • Genie from Aladdin
  • Stitch
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Mickey Mouse
  • Donald Duck
  • Daisy Duck
  • Storm Trooper
  • Shore Trooper from Rogue One
  • Baze Malbus from Rogue One
  • Darth Vader
  • BB8
  • Imperial Droid

As you can see from the video above, our girls were delighted when they saw the contents of the box! They spent ages looking at them all, finding our their names and seeing how they moved and if they could take them apart and put them back together again.

M absolutely loves the Disney ones. We’re going to Disneyland Paris in June so she’s even more excited about going now as she wants to meet them in real life!

R loves the stars wars figures, especially as she can take their helmets off to reveal their faces!

Each mini figure is really well made and the attention to detail is superb. I have to be honest, I love Stitch! His big purple ears are adorable!

All of the boxes are aimed at children aged between 4 and 13. The Mojo box, which we received, is aimed at twins because it has double the mini figures in at a preferential rate. Boxes start at just £4.85!

I especially like Fred’s Party Box. This is a one off box of 15 mini figures in a theme of your choice which is perfect for party bags, presents for games, decoration or even cake toppers! There are hundreds of different themes to chose from such the Easter Bunny, Santa, Princesses, Superheroes, figures from film, TV and music plus many many more!

Overall, we love Fred’s Box. It’s a unique idea and the mini figures included really are lovely. Thanks Fred’s Box!

For the purpose of this review we were sent one medium sized mojo box. All views & opinions are 100% my  own.

This is amazing and my boy who is lego obsessed (and his dad!) would love this!! The lego Disney packs are £3 for one! plus when we was collecting them we had soooo many doubles, so a lot of money was wasted! I love this!!

There’s some amazing little characters in there! I love the idea of subscription boxes to make life easier. I try not to subscribe though because I’ll get carried away. However, this is definitely one to consider for the little guy in future. Thanks for sharing! #thatfridaylinky
