Mega Bloks Thomas & Friends Zooming Along at Brendam Docks Playset Review

Our twin girls are almost four years old and they both absolutely love Thomas & Friends. I’ve written reviews previously of a Thomas & Friends DVD and also of the Thomas & Friends Take-N-Play Daring Dragon Drop Set so when we were recently asked if we’d like to review a Mega Bloks Thomas & Friends Zooming Along at Brendam Docks Playset, we jumped at the chance!

Suitable for children aged 2-5 years, this play set is perfect for all Thomas & Friends fans. I love that this set allows children to build certain aspects of it with the Mega Bloks.

The Mega Bloks Thomas & Friends Zooming Along at Brendam Docks Playset comes with a motorised Thomas the Tank engine that actually chuffs along the dock’s looping tracks. To make Thomas move, you simply press a small button on the side of him.

Your little conductor can have lots of fun exploring the world of Thomas & his Friends. It’s a busy day at Sodor and Thomas is zooming along at Brendam Docks. Children can send Thomas through the Sodor Shipping Co. warehouse, past the checkpoints, under the coal chute, and over the elevated bridge!

To make the coal drop down into the trailer that can be attached to Thomas, you simply the slide the underside of the yellow chute out. It’s really easy to do!

Cranky the Crane is there to help too, with his working  lifting hook for heavy loads. But the two are happiest when working together, and when Thomas passes by, Cranky starts to spin!

I love how much thought has been put into this toy! It’s super easy and quick to put together if you wanted to set it up ready for your child or you can give them the freedom build it themselves.

I also like that you get a sticker sheet as you can add details to the blocks with them.
