Max and Tallulah, a little love story is about two Zebra’s.
Max is in love with Tallulah, but he’s too shy to tell her so he comes up with a variety of different ways to try to gain her attention.
From daring dances and making giant hats to picking her favourite fruit, but with each thing Max does he either scares her away or he misses Tallulah completely.
Max eventually discovers that the best way to grab Tallulah’s attention is to just be himself!
This book is heart-warming and ideal for pre-schoolers. The story teaches children to just be themselves, which is one of the reasons why I really like this book.
It’s beautifully illustrated with colourful pictures that help bring the story to life. Plus it’s well written which really helps to hold children’s attention. R and M enjoyed listening to me reading this story to them and we talked about the pictures on each page and what we could see in them.
This book is written by Beverley Gooding, who also illustrates it herself and is available from Parragon Books.
For the purpose of this review we were sent one copy of this book. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
