Marvel Kids Game Review

As a mum to twin girls I’m always amazed at how different our girls are. A lot of people assume that twins will have similar likes and dislikes, but that’s simply not true. As a twin myself I can also second that!

M loves all things girly. Princesses, fairies and pink things! R, on the other hands loves all things ‘cool’. She’s obsessed with Spiderman, Captain America and Iron Man. She loves wearing blue and dislikes ‘pretty’ things!

When we were recently asked to review some online Marvel Kids Games I knew I had to do it! The first game we played is called ‘Spider-Man to the Rescue!’

Spider-Man is on a mission! Mysterio has captured both J. Jonah Jameson and Spider-man and taken them to his secret hideout! We must help Spider-Man rescue Jameson by sneaking past Mysterio’s traps and racing against the time to try and beat our high score!

The good thing about this game is that you can choose your level. To start we chose the easy level, but the more you play and improve you can challenge yourself by choosing a harder level.

The game is full of colourful, comic-strip style graphics.

The movement controls are easy to master so it doesn’t long to really get into the game.

Yu can earn bonuses by picking up web shields to earn 1,000 points and add five seconds to the mission clock.

To stun your enemies you use the web shooter to temporarily stun then. This means you can then get past them.

As the time starts to run out the water level starts to increase. Fall into the water and it’s game over!

This game was pretty fun to play. It took us a few attempts to get the hang of it, but when we did we kept playing again and again!

The next game we played was Avengers Assemble: Combined Strike featuring Captain America. This one took a while to load. Around two minutes, but we didn’t mind waiting!

We found this game easier to play than the Spider-Man one. It was also a bit funner!

The controls are a bit easier to get to grips with quickly. I lasted longer in this game than in the Spider-Man one!

Overall both of these games were really enjoyable to play! There are lots more games available so why not go take a look!
