Quality time with your children is a must if you want to be present in their lives. It can be difficult for both parents to really feel like they’re getting enough time with their kids, between work, school, and other commitments. But making time to spend with your children will ensure they have special memories to treasure – plus it gives the other parent a break! If you have more than one child, you can plan to do things together as well as have one-on-one dad time with each child. Be There for the Everyday
Firstly, being there for everyday stuff can be just as important as planning special things to do together. If you’re present for normal things like getting ready for school, mealtimes, homework, and bedtime, it can mean a lot more than going on a few big outings a year. By being a part of your child’s everyday life, you show that you care for them everyday. Doing things like reading together at bedtime can be an excellent way to bond.
