Have you heard of peer-to-peer lending yet?
Do you ever find that the cost of living verses the amount of money that you actually earn often leaves you with little or nothing to spare at the end of the month?
It’s a problem that a lot of families face across the country. Most will turn to their friends and families first, then move onto banks and credit cards, but what if you could borrow money from your peers?
Well there is a way!
Have you heard of Lending Works yet?
Put simply Lending Works offers low interest loans because they allow people to lend and borrow money from other individuals. In turn this means that you don’t have to go through a bank.
Of course there’s nothing wrong with going through a bank, but by lending from your peers it generally allows lenders a better return and borrowers a better interest rate – which is good for both parties.
Peer-to-peer lending, also known as marketplace lending, is an innovative concept which involves the direct matching of lenders and borrowers via a peer-to-peer platform.
Lending works matches shrewd lenders with credit-worthy personal loan borrowers. By cutting out the banks, lenders receive great returns and borrowers receive low, cost, flexible personal loans.
How do I sign up?
You must be a UK resident with a UK bank account, and be at least 18 years of age.
If you want to become a lender, Lending Works will need to validate your identity as this helps to prevent money laundering and fraud.
If you want to request a loan you’ll need to be at least 20 years of age and Lending Works will need to verify that you can afford to repay your loan, and also that you are credit-worthy.
Why get a loan from Lending Works?
- It’s simple, quick and flexible
- Low cost, fixed rate personal loans
- No banks and no sneaky fees
- Personalised quote that doesn’t affect your credit score
- Apply in minutes, paid within two working days
- No fees for overpayments or early settlements
Final Thoughts
Always borrow money responsibly and ensure that you can afford the repayments. Lending Works have an Education Centre on their website which contains helpful guides and information on lending and borrowing through Lending Works and on peer-to-peer lending in general.

This seems like a good idea. Those pay day lenders are a rip off and charge a really high interest rate it should be criminal. This sort of lending sounds more affordable x
