Five mistakes everyone makes at the beginning of a new year

January 14, 2016
With every new year comes new years resolutions and the same old mistakes that we all make. I thought I’d share some mistakes that everyone makes at the beginning of a new year.

Writing 2015 instead of 2016

Telling the world that the new year means a new you, whether that be a fitter, slimmer, healthier, richer new you, and then failing within the first month

Remembering that you failed to achieve any of last year’s resolutions and then setting the same resolutions for the new year without thinking about how you’re actually going to achieve them

Failing to prepare for change. If you’ve set yourself a goal or resolution make sure you plan for it.

You may need to decide a date for something to start on, find a good diet plan or take action to achieve something. It’s all in the preparation and planning. Plan to start the new year as you mean to go on

Using delaying tactics. I’ll start at the beginning of this week or that month. What are you waiting for? There’s no time like the present! Start that new project, goal or whatever it is you want to get done now!

It always takes me ages to write the write year down and always put last years date. Also delaying tactics – I think everyone is guilty of that
