Disney Character for a Day

Being a child is one of the best phases in life. You’re carefree, happy, have a vivid imagination and you really can be anything you want to be.
One day you’re an astronaut. The next you’re an explorer and the day after that, you’re a deep sea diver!
It’s wonderful!
Having children also makes you feel young again. We get to run around the park with them, play dolls with them or make up silly games. It’s such a shame that we actually have to grow up!
As Walt Disney himself said: “That’s the real trouble with the world. Too many people grow up.“
With that in mind, shopDisney sent us some products and asked the question, “What would you do with your day as your favourite character?”
Our twins are seven years old. Aside from being the same age, that’s pretty much where their similarities end!
R decided that she’d like to be the Genie from Aladdin for the day. She’d invite her friends over for a tea party and then grant of all their wishes
Of course she’d need a tea set for this and thanks to shopDisney she was able to use this super cute Aladdin Teatime Playset to serve her guests.
Tasty cupcakes sat in a dish alongside a teapot filled with ‘imaginary tea’. The cupcakes, however, were real and most definitely tasty!
M decided that she’d be Bo Peep from Toy Story. She’d use her staff to fend off enemies and then join the Genie for some tea and cake.
A quick change of costume to transform the cape into skirt and Bo Peep was ready!
Bo Peeps’ friend, Ducky, would join her and they’d talk tactics whilst making new friends!
It was super cute watching our girls serving one another tea and cake whilst making conversation with their guests.
