As a busy mum I’m always trying to think of new ways to get the kids to spend more time outdoors instead of cooped up inside in front of the TV.
My twin girls already have a pedal bike each, but if I’m on my own with them both and they want to go to the park on their bikes, it’s really difficult for me to manage them both on pedal bikes on my own. You see they both need help steering and quite often the wheels on their pedal bikes get stuck if the ground is uneven.
That’s why I was delighted to be offered the chance to review a balance bike from Kiddies Kingdom. I chose the Chicco Arrow Balance Bike which is just £34.99.

I knew that a balance bike would be so much easier for the girls and I. I wouldn’t have to help steer them, I wouldn’t have to push them, and they would feel a sense of accomplishment in being able to ride the balance bike all by themselves. My husband was sent a Chicco Thunder Balance Bike to review, so head on over to his blog to read his review of that balance bike!

The Chicco pink arrow balance bike is super light weight and it was really easy to put together. Some assembly is required, but everything you need is included and the instructions are easy to follow. It took around 3o minutes to put the bike together.
The main reason why I like balance bikes is because they help children to acquire the necessary balance on two wheels. Hopefully this will help them with their pedal bikes!

This bike is aimed at children aged 3 to 5 years (to a maximum weight of 25kg). M is just 15kg so this bike should last her quite a while even though she’s already five years old!
The handlebars and seat are adjustable so you can make sure they’re both at the right height for your child. The seat is well padded and comfortable, plus the wheels are durable.
Overall, we’re very impressed with the Chicco Arrow Balance Bike. It’s great quality and a great price, plus M seems to be enjoying riding it around!
For the purpose of this review we were sent one Chicco balance bike. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

This looks fab, love the colour too. My little girl got a pedal bike for Christmas but she can’t work out how to peddle it yet, I think I need to get her something like this instead xx
