Chad Valley Play Chef Toy Kitchen Review Plus Win a £75 Argos Voucher!
As part of the Chad Valley Play Panel we’ve been sent some wonderful toys to review from the Chad Valley range which are all available online from Argos. You can read our previous reviews here and here.
This month we received the Chad Valley Play Chef Toy Kitchen to review, plus we have a £75 Argos voucher to giveaway!
The Chad Valley Play Chef Toy Kitchen is perfect for those who are tight on space. This kitchen is a great size. It won’t take up your whole front room, yet it’s the exact, perfect size for two children to happily play with it side-by-side.

The kitchen is delivered unassembled, but putting it together took around ten minutes and that included the time taken to stick the stickers on! It really was that quick and easy, plus the instructions are very well written with helpful diagrams too!
Included with the Chad Valley Play Chef Toy Kitchen is a menu, order book, two plates, two bowls, one saucepan and pot, salt and pepper shakers, play food, cutlery and utensils.

The toy kitchen is made from plastic. It’s durable and once put together, it’s sturdy and won’t fall apart during play.
Our girls really like that it comes with a menu and order book. They’ve been playing with the kitchen every day since it’s arrival and making up different scenarios. It’s been lovely to watch them taking each others orders, ‘cooking’ their food and serving it up to one another!

The Chad Valley Play Chef Toy Kitchen has been really well thought out in terms of its design. There are six hooks above the ‘hob’ to hang the cutlery and utensils from. This is great as it prevents them from being lost, plus the kids can easily reach them when they want to use them.

There are four dials on the front of the toy kitchen. Three of them when turned make noises and phrases such as ‘let’s make soup’. The fourth button makes a clicking noise when turned. I also really like that the saucepan and pot fit onto the hob and are held in place so they won’t fall off. To the left of the hob is a sink and tap. The top of the tap can be pushed down which adds to the imaginative play element.

The oven doors can be opened and inside there are removable shelves. The saucepan and pot fit easily inside the oven and the doors are easy to open and close. The blue door can also be opened revealing the fridge which has two removable shelves in.

The play food is easily identifiable, such as chips and beans, plus they all fit into the saucepan and pot!

R and M absolutely love this toy kitchen and I think for £44.99 (price correct at time of publication), it’s great value for money and worth every penny!

I also like that the menu and order book sit neatly on the kitchen so they don’t get lost either.

I really can’t express enough, just how much we love this toy kitchen! As I said the girls have played with it everyday. They’ve been using their imaginations to cook up new dishes, set up their own cafe and serve their family and friends!
In addition to the toy kitchen, we were also sent this super cute Chad Valley Fluffy Friends Brody Animated Dog, and this Chad Valley Be U 1,000 Piece Sparkle Box.

Very cute – I love the color scheme! My first kitchen for my daughter took days to put together….I’ll never get back those days, lol!

Smashing looking kitchen. Ours has finally fallen apart after 2 kids and 4 years of being used as a climbing frame.

This looks great. I had something similar when I was little. I’d love to get something like this for my daughter when she’s a little older. #ThatFridayLinky

Love the fact that the pots and pans fit ‘inside’ the hob so that little ones don’t knock them off so easily! My little boy loves playing with his kitchen set and I think it been the best purchase so far! #ThatFridayLinky
