We’re part of the Argos Chad Valley Play Panel! Driftstone CarPark & Cars Playset Review! Plus Win a £75 Argos Voucher!
I’m very excited to announce that we’ve been invited to be part of the Chad Valley 2017 Play Panel. This means over the next few months, we’ll be sharing some of the hottest toys with you, plus we’ll be giving you the chance to win one of three £75 Argos vouchers!

Our first competition can be found toward the end of this post so make sure you enter for your chance to win a £75 Argos voucher – perfect with Christmas just around the corner!
As part of the Chad Valley Play Panel we will be receiving a number of different toys from the Chad Valley range over the next few months. We’ve already received our first delivery and as you can see from the picture below, the toys chosen for our girls are fantastic.

We received:
- Chad Valley 100 Piece Styling Dolls Head
- Chad Valley Wobbly Worms Game
- Chad Valley Babies Love Crawling Doll
- Chad Valley Bumper Stationary Bag
- Chad Valley Animated Pony
- Chad Valley Driftstone Carpark & Cars Playset
In this post, we’ll be reviewing the Chad Valley Driftstone Carpark & Cars Playset, but you can scroll down for further information about the other toys we were sent too.
The Chad Valley Driftstone Carpark & Cars is aimed at children aged three and over. Currently priced at just £19.99, I think it’s excellent value for money. (Price correct at time of publication)

This toy does require some assembly and I’d suggest putting a good half hour aside for this as there are lots of stickers to stick on!
The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, plus all of the stickers were labelled so you know exactly where they’re meant to go. The individual pieces of the garage such as the floors, helipad and ramps etc were all easy to connect and clip together. Once all of the stickers were on, it took around five minutes to piece the carpark together.
The Chad Valley Driftstone Carpark & Cars Playset comes with five die-cast cars in different colours: purple, blue, orange, red and yellow.

The cars are all brightly coloured and R quickly exclaimed that the red and yellow ones were her favourite!

What I love most about this toy is the attention to detail. There’s a petrol filling station and store, helipad with working lift and car wash!

The car wash is very cute! It has foam rollers on so when children drive their car into the car wash, they can move the rollers around to ensure their car gets a good wash! Our girls absolutely loved taking it in turns to wash their cars!

The Helipad is another cool feature of this three-storey carpark toy. There’s a small grip on top and when turned this lowers and raises the lift. Children can place one car at a time on the lift to raise it from the second floor to the third floor, and back down again!
You can also see in this picture the yellow stickers that are used to make car parking spaces. Our girls love lining all of the cars up and parking them each in their own individual bays!

This toy is also a really good size. As you can see from the picture below, it’s easy for two children to play with it at once. R and M had so much fun racing their cars down the ramps and back up again!

I think one of the hardest parts was deciding on what colour car to play with first!
The Driftstone Carpark & Cars Playset is really well made. Once put together it’s sturdy and stays together well. There’s no chance of it falling apart which is just what you need when you have two excitable children playing with it at once!

R says that her favourite thing about this toy is the lift. She enjoys driving her car up all of the ramps and then lowering it to the second floor with the lift!
M says that her favourite thing about this toy is the car wash! She did ask if she could use real water too! I can just see us in the summer bringing this toy outside into the garden and M using water to wash her cars, and the garage too probably!

Overall, we think that the Chad Valley Driftstone Carpark & Cars Playset is brilliant. It provides hours of imaginative role-play fun for children and it’s definitely a toy that will get played with over and over again!
