Rise of Scar Playset Review: The LionGuard

The Lion King is one of the girls favourite films at the moment. When we recently went on holiday to Disneyland Paris, R bought a Simba toy and she now has quite a collection of Simba toys! So when we were sent this Rise of Scar Playset her little face lit up, as did M’s, who’s also a fan! The Rise of Scar Playset is available from Smyths for £44.99 (price correct at time of publication). Aimed at children aged three and over, this playset will provide hours of fun for children who want to create the Lion Guard scenes from… [Read More]

Dining at Disney World Resort Florida

Disneyland Paris is undoubtedly the best holiday we have ever been on. It’s no secret that we’re big Disney fans in our house. Aside from the Disney memorabilia that adorns pretty much every room in our home, my children and I also have the Lego Disney castle on our wish list for Christmas! I like to write blog posts about our experience in Disneyland Paris, but also posts about Disney that I hope will help other people who are thinking of going and have never been before. You can read all of my Disney related posts here. This is one of… [Read More]

Disneyland Hotel Review

If you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past month or so then you’ll be forgiven for not knowing that we’ve not long returned from a 5 day trip to Disneyland Paris. For the duration of our stay, we stayed in the Disneyland Hotel. As such I thought I’d write a little review about the hotel itself. I’ve already written up our trip report, which you can read here (day 1), here (day 2), here (day 3) and here (day 4)! Plus, if you’re after more Disney inspired posts, click here. I’ve also written a post called, Tips for Booking your… [Read More]

A Night In with Belle: Beauty and the Beast

As a massive fan of all things Disney, it probably comes as no surprise that my favourite Disney Princess of all time is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She’s fearless, feisty, brave and strong, but also feminine, intelligent, kind and caring. For me, she’s the best Disney Princesses because she encapsulates what women should be. She’s not a typical princess, and by that I mean she doesn’t loves pinks, she’s not dim and she doesn’t always falls for the wrong man like most princesses do. I genuinely think she’s a princess that can be looked up to, as a… [Read More]

Tangled: Before Ever After is coming to the Disney Channel!

If you’re a big fan of Rapunzel then the 21st July at 5pm is a date to put into your diary! That’s because the premier of Before Ever After airs on 21st July at 5pm on Disney Channel. Don’t miss the launch of Tangled: The Series this Autumn.   Here’s a sneaky peek of the trailer: The trailer starts off with Rapunzel being followed by Eugene (aka Flyn Rider) whilst they’re riding a horse each. As you’ll notice Rapunzels famous golden locks are gone, and she’s sporting a shorter brown bob. Remember how Tangled ended? With Eugene cutting off her… [Read More]

On the morning of our last day, we had breakfast in inventions in our hotel (the Disney Hotel) and then we headed straight over to Frontierland as R was desperate to meet Peter Pan. When we… [Read More]

This morning we had breakfast with the characters booked at Plaza Gardens which is a short walk from the Disney Hotel where we were staying. Disneyland Paris Trip Report Day 2

Following on from my last Disneyland Paris trip report here is a report of day number 2! Today, (Tuesday), was forecast rain so we decided to head over to the Disney Studios to meet some characters. Officially the Studios don’t open until 10am, but I had read online that the gates actually open at 9.30am. After having breakfast in our hotel (the Disneyland Hotel) restaurant, Inventions, we headed straight to the Studios. We arrived around 9am and found a small crowd of people waiting. We joined one of the lines so pretty close to the front of the queue. When the… [Read More]

Disneyland Paris Trip Report Day 1

Disneyland Castle

It’s hard to believe that two weeks ago we were in Disneyland Paris. I  booked our trip rather spur of the moment last October and remember thinking that it was ages away. Well, now I wish I was back there because the time we had there has flown by! We stayed in the Disneyland Hotel which was absolutely amazing! I knew before booking our trip, that if we were going to go to Disneyland, then we had to do it properly and stay in the Disney Hotel! It was everything I thought it would be and more! More on the… [Read More]
