As a massive fan of all things Disney, it probably comes as no surprise that my favourite Disney Princess of all time is Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
She’s fearless, feisty, brave and strong, but also feminine, intelligent, kind and caring. For me, she’s the best Disney Princesses because she encapsulates what women should be.
She’s not a typical princess, and by that I mean she doesn’t loves pinks, she’s not dim and she doesn’t always falls for the wrong man like most princesses do.
I genuinely think she’s a princess that can be looked up to, as a role model. I mean, she risks her own life so that she can free her father. She brings the beast back to his castle after he’s injured by the wolves in the woods and then she cares for him. She sees the best in people.
Jakks Pacific recently sent me a DVD of the new Beauty and the Beast film, staring Emma Watson, along with a beautiful Beauty and the Beast toddler doll.
If you haven’t yet seen the film, you can buy the DVD in most supermarkets and also online. It’s such a brilliant film, and although I was a little unsure at first about Emma Watson being cast as Belle, I have to admit that she really did do an awesome job. She makes a brilliant Belle and now I really couldn’t think of anyone else who could’ve have done as good a job as Emma.
Having said that, the original animated version will always be my favourite, but this version is pretty close behind!
The Beauty and the Beast Toddler doll is absolutely stunning! The thing that I love most about the toddler dolls are their eyes! They’re big and have so much detail!
This Belle doll wears a necklace just like the one Emma wears in the new film, and I love the detail on the dress. It’s sparkly, intricate and very pretty!
I also love her shoes, which are also very sparkly and pretty!
