Can You Get The Superhero Physique Without The Cheat Codes?

January 7, 2022

How did Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Hugh Jackman, Chris Evans, Ben Affleck – the list goes on – get in shape for their superhero roles?

It’s the time-old debate of Whey Protein vs. Plant Protein. Whichever side you are on, from helping with muscle recovery to a balanced diet, it’s an essential nutrient for the human body and is known as the building block of life. Protein really is important for so many reasons.

Well, if you believe the media interviews, then it’s all about three simple foods: chicken, broccoli and rice.

Indeed, these three ingredients come up so much in fitness interviews for celebs that you would be forgiven for thinking they are a miracle solution or a code for something else.

Well, people who have tried to eat nothing but chicken, rice and broccoli for weeks and even months have found that the results are far from massive and nowhere what the celebs are saying they can accomplish with these foods.

Then there’s the various personal trainers, some of whom work in the industry, claiming that these are what celebs and pros use when they refer to taking steroids for roles.

It’s fair to say that the look of some celebs is causing people to have unrealistic expectations of what they can achieve at the gym. Kimail Nanijani is the latest celeb to be embroiled in the ‘chicken, rice and broccoli’ controversy after people noticed his appearance completely changed, seemingly overnight.

So, the question is can you achieve similar changes to your body without the cheat codes? Perhaps, but with a few caveats.

You Need To Work Out Constantly

You can tone up without committing your life to working out. But you can’t pack on the muscle if you’re not putting some serious hours in at the gym. You also need to make sure that you are completing the right type of exercises. There are some great guides online such as this one that will help you learn how to workout the right way to see the real results. To make sure you don’t get injured, book in for a regular mobile sports massage with a professional.

You Need To Eat Well

Chicken, broccoli and rice might well be a code but the idea behind the answer is sound. These celebs know that to build muscle, you need protein and plenty of it from the right sources. So, if you are looking to lower your body fat and improve your muscle levels, then it does make sense to eat a high protein diet. However, you also need to make sure that you are managing your diet the right way. You should try eating multiple smaller meals rather than three large ones because this will make it easier to build up the muscle that you need in your diet. You can learn more about this on sites such as this one.

Hire a PT

Finally, you might want to think about hiring a personal trainer. Celebs always have these on hand even if they are using a cheat sheet. The right PT will ensure that you are completing the key workout routines you need to gain the results that you want.

We hope this helps you understand some of the key steps that you should take to improve your level of fitness. You might not fully achieve the superhero physique, but with the right steps, you could still be amazed when you look in the mirror after just a few months.
