Bead Kits from Bead-Kids Review

My girls and I love to make things. We’ve made jewellery in the past so when I was asked to review some bead kits, I jumped at the chance!




Bead-Kids was started by Mandy. She started Bead-Kids because she wanted a more flexible approach to work that would allow her to see more of her children growing up.



Bead-Kids provide creative jewellery making parties for children in your own home or venue in London, Kent, Sussex or Surrey. You can also try your very own DIY party kit!


There are six types of parties to choose from:

Little Sparkles for children aged 5-7 years
Crystal Jewels for children aged 7-10 years
Charm Angels for children aged 10+ years
Sparkle Stacks for children aged 8-12 years
Boho Divas for children aged 12+
DIY Parties which are coming soon!

We were sent two bracelet making kits, a flower stretch bracelet and a princess stretch bracelet kit. Everything you need to make the bracelet are included in the plastic box which has a variety of different compartments – perfect for keeping everything in.


The instructions are easy to follow so after explaining to the girls what we needed to do, we got started! There is a paperclip included with each set which is meant to be used to clip the elastic thread to the box or a piece of cardboard so the beads don’t fall off whilst you’re threading them on, but this didn’t work as the thread was too thin to stay put. It didn’t matter though as I just held the end of the thread whilst the girls threaded the beads and their charms on.


The idea is to make two bracelets and then use the ribbon to tie them together to make one bracelet.





The girls and I really enjoyed making these! They were lots of fun and easy to make, plus the end result looks great!

I’m a keen runner and in April 2019 I ran the London Marathon for an amazing charity called WellChild. It’s one of my biggest achievements to date. I raised over £2,000 for the charity and learnt so much along the way.
