Baker Days Letterbox Cake Review
Twin Daddy and I were very lucky to have been sent a letter box cake from www.bakerdays.com. They’re a great idea and they taste pretty good too!
Letter box cakes are, well, exactly what you would think it to be! A cake that can be posted through your letter box. The cake is nicely packaged in a lovely tin, which is placed in a box for posting.
You can choose one of the hundreds of designs from the website or even better you can personalise it with a picture (as we did with ours) or with a few special words.
The cake is around 3-4 portions and of course we couldn’t write this review without letting R and M have a taste! The cake we received was carrot cake and both girls enjoyed it very much (minus the icing which I ate for fear of hyper active babies!). The cake was delicious. It was moist, fresh and the icing was amazing!

I love the idea of sending one of these to someone as a present. It makes a nice change to the norm of flowers, balloons or chocolates. I mean who would think when they opened it up that it would be a cake?! Brilliant!
The only negative I have to say though is that….it didn’t fit through our letter box! The postman had to leave a card for us to go and pick it up from the sorting office!
I did test it myself and there was no way it could have possibly fitted! I thought all letter boxes were pretty much the same size, maybe not?
Letter box cakes are priced at £14.99 and are available from www.bakerdays.com
