When our twins were babies, my husband and I went through numerous changing bags. Some were too small, others too big. Some fitted our double pushchair perfectly, whilst others just got in the way.
It’s true that finding the right changing bag for you and your little ones can take time. Our twin girls are six years old now, but that doesn’t mean we no longer need a changing bag.
Although, they’re no longer in nappies, and don’t drink from bottles anymore, day trips still mean that we need a bag capable of carrying enough for twins. This includes lunch boxes, baby wipes for sticky fingers, first aid kit, drinks and snacks, a spare change of clothes each etc. The list goes on!
It’s a common mistake to think that as your kids grow up, you need to bring less with you, but that’s not always the case!
Yes, a trip to the local park means I don’t need to bring anything with me other than perhaps a drink each. However, during the summer months when we visit farms, museums etc, I can end up packing a lot of essentials.
That’s why the new Robyn Babymel Changing Bag is perfect for me, and for new mums. Available online from Kiddies Kingdom, they stock a vast array of items for parents. I was recently admiring some travel systems from Kiddies Kingdoms.
First up, I love the backpack style of this bag.
I’ve had numerous one shoulder-strap changing bags, and they always leave me with neck ache, and usually a headache from an achy shoulder from carrying too much weight!
A backpack is so much better. Not only is the weight of the content evenly distributed lessening back ache, it also makes it so much easier to carry. That being said, if you do prefer to wear your bag differently, you can! That’s the beauty of this bag! It’s so versatile as there are four different ways to carry this bag. Wear it as a backpack, shoulder bag, cross body or hand held bag. The choice is yours!
For me, it’s backpack all the way! You can still pick your kids up and run around after them without having to re-adjust the bag.
This changing bag is fashionable, trendy and modern. I was sent the Robyn Babymel changing bag in navy tweed, but it’s also available in red, navy stripe, black, and navy.
The Robyn Babymel changing bag is unisex so dads can carry it too, plus it’s lightweight and durable.
I also love that it has plenty of pockets so you can organise all your essentials, plus there’s a handy easy-wipes pocket which has a dispenser slot for pulling wipes through. Great for those of us who tend to put baby wipes in first and then ending up have to dig our way to the bottom of the bag to find them!
This bag has lots of different features and comes with a luxury machine washable padded changing mat, plus there’s a built –in convertible multiway strap with integrated stroller straps for attaching it to your stroller.
Overall, I’m very impressed with the Babymel Robyn Changing Bag. It’s a great size, and I love the many different pockets for storing essentials. It looks great, plus it’s durable and comfortable to wear.
This changing bag is available online from Kiddies Kingdom for £60.
