April Favourites

April 28, 2022

I was gifted the products featured in this post

This month has been really busy for us. With a jam packed Easter half term full of fun days out, we’re just about settling back into some sort of routine now that the girls are back in school.

This means I’ve had some time to think about my favourite products that I’ve used this month. It was a tough decision but I’ve managed to whittle it down to four April favourites.

Slightly Different Foods

I’ve really enjoyed trying new flavours this month with Slightly Different Foods ‘Around the World 10 pack of Cooking Sauces’.

This pack costs just £30, making each jar just £3 each. The sauces are gluten free, vegan and gut friendly. This pack contains the following sauces:

  • Mexican fajita
  • Sweet chilli
  • Arrabiata
  • Chilli con carne
  • Smooth bolognese
  • Thai red curry
  • Tropical curry
  • Tomato and basil
  • Tikka masala
  • Sweet & Sour

My favourite is the Mexican fajita! It’s full of flavour and spice! You either marinate the chicken in the sauce or heat the sauce up separately and add to your meal as desired. It can also be used as a dip.

In close second place is the tomato and basil sauce. I warmed the sauce in a saucepan and added it to cooked pasta. You can also throw in some veggies and grate some cheese over the top.

111SKIN Cryo De-Puffing Edit

Of all my April favourites this is the most expensive at £110, but it is absolutely worth the price.

This kit helps to treat dull looking skin, dark circles and signs of ageing. It feels like a sculpt, tone and contour kit and it’s recommended for those who are looking to brighten their dull-looking skin.

The kit contains:

  • Sub-zero de-puffing eye mask
  • 2 x facial sculpting tools which come in their own black velvet drawstring pouch
  • Sub-zero de-puffing energy facial mask
  • A beautiful, shimmery blue bag to keep everything in
  • Sub-zero de-puffing eye duo

This kit utilises the benefits of cryotherapy which is the practise of using extremely cold temperatures to treat the tissue layer of the skin, forcing it to a rejuvenating state.

I love using the eye and face mask first thing in the morning. It helps me to feel more awake and I’ve noticed a definite change in my skin. It looks brighter, younger and has definitely reduced the dullness. Visit the Skinstation website to buy this kit.

Tea & Tonic Limited Edition Nurturing Sleep Wellness Gift Set

My third favourite product this month is from Tea & Tonic. This Limited Edition Nurturing Sleep Wellness Gift Set is just £55.00 and is the perfect way to unwind before bed. Inside the beautiful white box you’ll find:

  • Inviting Sleep Golden Milk Wellness Tea
  • Meadow’s Secret Cleansing Balm
  • Organic Hemp Cleansing Cloth
  • Inviting Sleep Halen Môn Bath Salts

The inviting sleep golden milk wellness tea helps to promote a peaceful night’s sleep with a creamy, smooth & aromatic flavour. I used my coffee machine milk frother to add warm, frothy milk which was just perfect before bed.

The cleansing balm is a nutrient-rich skin remedy with a blend of British meadow flower & seed oils, fortified with adaptogen superherb complex hand blended in small batches for optimal freshness & potency. It’s perfect for dissolving make-up, excess oil & impurities whilst beautifully softening & promoting a subtle, dewey-fresh, radiant complex.

Revive Collagen Hydrolysed Marine Collagen Drink

My final April favourite is from Revive Collagen. Available as a one-time purchase of 14 sachets for £33.99 or as a ‘subscribe and save’ 14 day supply for £27.99 (1 box delivered every 14 days – free delivery and cancel anytime) or as a 28 day supply for £55.98 (2 boxes delivered every 28 days – free delivery and cancel anytime).

These hydrolysed marine collagen drinks contain hyaluronic acid and aloe vera juice. Revive Collagen’s unique formula works by boosting the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid within the body. Alongside this, Aloe Vera extract acts as an anti-inflammatory, helping to treat dry skin.

Simply drink one sachet a day straight from the sachet or add to water. Drinking one sachet a day helps rebuild and restore collagen levels, with over 8500 MG of Type 1 hydrolysed marine collagen per serving.

If i’m in a rush, I’ll drink one straight from the sachet. It has a pleasant citrus flavour. If I have a bit more time I tend to add it to water and drink throughout the morning. I’m excited to see the results of drinking these every day for 28 days.

So, those are my April favourites. Head on over to the websites linked above for more information about each product named above or let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
