A Perfect Day

January 16, 2014

This is my entry to the Center Parcs and Tots 100 January challenge. If I’m chosen, I would like to visit Longleat Forest.

Christmas has now gone so it’s time to look forward to a fun packed 2014. We’re quite a relaxed, laid back, go with the flow kind of family. I enjoy taking our twins, R and M to play group, music group and our local soft play center during the week.

On the weekend we may even visit our local pet store so that our girls can look at the rabbits, guinea pigs and fish. Just like their Mummy, they’re both animal lovers!

Center Parcs have asked bloggers to describe their family’s perfect day at Center Parcs. So here is my perfect day…

Inspired by the ‘An Adventure with Little One’s’ video on Center Parcs which shows a family enjoying themselves splashing around in the swimming pool, we’d head down to take part in the SwimaSong Swim Lesson after enjoying a lovely, healthy breakfast.

I rarely find time to take our girls swimming as I can’t take them my on my own, therefore we would definitely make this a regular part of our holiday! We have taken R and M swimming in the past and they absolutely loved it, especially crawling around in the shallow area! In addition to this they both follow in their Daddy’s footsteps for their love of music, so when you combine swimming and music together, I’m sure we’ll have a fun and memorable time!

R and M just love dancing along and listening to music!

After a spot of lunch in the Grand Cafe, we’d make our way to the Watersports Lake which has its very own beach.

Can you believe that at almost 2 years of age, R and M have never been to a beach?

Taking our girls to the beach is one the things I want to do on my 30 by 30 list and this would be the perfect opportunity to do this! We could all get our buckets and spades out, build sand castles together and eat ice cream!

I imagine that after a little nap from our busy day, our twins would be pretty hungry by now! We’d have something to eat in Huck’s American Bar and Grill as they have a childrens buffet so R and M could help themselves without having to wait!

Once our bellies are full and we’re almost ready for bed, we’d sit down and relax after a long day filled with fun and watch one of the evenings shows before heading to bed to dream about what a perfect day we had.
