2015 Blogging Changes

January 4, 2015

Don’t worry this isn’t one of those posts where I make a bunch of New Years resolutions!

If you want to read about those you can visit my new blog here
How long?!
I’ve been blogging for almost three years now.
I started back in 2012 when I would post rather sporadically and inconsistently.
As time passed by and my blog began to grow I started to write more and more posts until the point that I posted daily.
Sometimes I would post multiple times a day.
How many?!
In 2012 I posted a total of 86 times.
In 2013 I posted a total of 243 times.
In 2014 I posted a total of 408 times!
As you can see the amount of time and effort that I’ve put towards my blog has been pretty immense!
You might be impressed by those stats or you might not, but either way I think it’s fair to say that it’s time for change.
In the time that I’ve been blogging I’ve had some wonderful opportunities and I hope that this will continue long into the future.
I’ve had the chance to review some wonderful products and even better meet some wonderful people.
Blogging has taught me a lot of new skills. From social media to html and photo editing.

However, it’s time for a change.

Under Pressure!

I’ve been putting myself under a lot of pressure to blog everyday.
To make sure there is something new for my readers everyday.
That takes up a lot of time!
Time that could be better spent with my family.
Going forward I’ll still be blogging, but just not quite as much as I have been.
You can expect new posts on Monday and Wednesday of each week and of course I’ll still be continuing with the Binky Linky every Friday so don’t forget to link up your favourite posts!
I don’t imagine for one minute that this change will be permanent, but for now whilst our children are home I need to make the most of that time.
Before I know it they’ll be starting school and I’m sure I’ll end up spending the time that they’re in school blogging pretty much full time again! Mainly to take my mind off the fact that I’ll be missing our girls!
In the meantime as I mentioned at the start of this post, I do have a new blog so you can also keep up with what I’m up to over there too, but posts on that blog will be as and when I write them!
I don’t think I’ll ever stop blogging and I hope you’ll always continue to read my blogs!
Thank you for all your support in 2015.
Special thank you to Lucy for your support and hard work in co-hosting the Binky Linky with me every week.
Special thanks also to Kaz for helping me to host the Vlog Hop.
The Vlog Hop is no longer running, but thanks to those of you who did take part whilst it was!
Lastly I want to thank YOU! Thank you for reading.

I went through months where I wanted to blog daily but felt like it completely took over, so now I just do it when it suits me and I'm much happier doing it this way. I hope you will be happier too, although I will miss my daily read of our blog, I'd often forget to comment but nearly always read 🙂 xxx

That's how I feel! It's taken over and I need to reasses my priorities. I'm sure I'll be happier, but I think I'll miss doing it everyday! Contradiction I know, but that's how I feel! Aw, thanks hun. Great to hear you read it everyday. I'll still be here so don't forget me! xxx

Enjoy your girls Hunni while they are at home. Your blog will still be here waiting for you are ready. I too find it very time consuming having to blog everyday but that is a target I set myself. No one is forces me to blog everyday so like you I'm taking a little step back too 🙂 xx
