Twirlywoos Books Video Review

November 15, 2015

The Twirlywoos have been on our TV screens since February of this year and they’ve made a pretty big impact in our household. This pre-school comedy series features four cute characters at they get up to all sorts of antics.

There’s Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy and Chick. Our three year old twin girls really like watching the Twirlywoos, so when I told them that we were being sent two Twirlywoo Board Books they were pretty excited!

These Twirlywoo books are from Harper Collins who say; “Say hello to your favourite TV characters in these fun board books. In “Meet the Twirlywoos!“, the Twirlywoos are playing ball. Bouncing, spinning, throwing and… oops… bumping!

In “Hello Chickedy! Hello Chick!“, Chickedy and Chick are hiding from Great BigHoo and Toodloo. In a hat shop, a pretty garden, in a tent, in the kitchen with yummy cakes, even on stage… Can you help to find them?

These bright, fun board books will delight all Twirlywoos fans. Twirlywoos is the new preschool series on Cbeebies from Anne Wood, creator of the phenomenal successes Teletubbies and In The Night Garden.”

In the video below you will see me reading both books to our twin girls. It’s clear to see that they both really enjoyed the books and I really enjoyed reading them too! I love the bright colours in the books and the story is easy to follow and lots of fun to read!

My little one is a bit young for TVs shows and having a favourite but she loves the theme song to this. I must get her some books and get her familiar with these characters. I can see they are going to be a huge hit #justanotherlinky

I can't stop humming the Twirlywoos theme song. Sometimes I do it and its not until the show comes on, I realise thats were the song came from. Great review and great idea for stocking fillers. Renee @peonieandme #bestandworst x
