Our twins are six year olds and earlier this year, my husband and I made the decision to give them pocket money. It’s not a fortune, at just £1 a week, but we thought it would be a good way to introduce our children to the idea of money. Teaching children the value of money can be a tricky task to achieve. Many children enjoy playing with pretend money, mine included. Our girls have a toy till on top of their play shop and they’ll take it in turns to play the customer and the shopkeeper. Pocket Money Cookery Book

I really enjoy cooking and baking. I always have done and I really enjoy that my children can now take part and help too! I was recently sent a book called Pocket Money Cookery to review. The book starts with an introduction and then goes on to include some Do’s and Don’ts as well as safety in the kitchen and hygiene.
