Strawberry Planter Review
I’ve written a lot lately about gardening and growing our own vegetables and fruit. It’s something I’ve been keen to do for quite a while.
I’m currently growing carrots, potatoes, spring onions, tomatoes, salads and some herbs.
The lovely people over at Suttons recently sent me a strawberry planter to review. According to their website they’d send me a planter and 12 healthy strawberry plants.
I was a bit concerned about what condition the plants would be in when they arrived, but there was nothing to worry about.
The plants arrived well packaged so they were protected from damage in the post. I really like that included in the parcel were some leaflets about how to plant and take care of the strawberry plants.
The instructions were detailed and easy to follow.
We received a pack of two planters – I think this is because there is currently a buy one get one free offer on.
The planter is made from tough woven polyethylene, with eight side pockets. It has a decorative motive around the top edge so it looks good too.
It’s ideal for small and urban gardens, patios and balconies.
I’ve got mine on the decking in our back garden. It’s easy to move around as it has handles on each side too.
R and M both really enjoyed helping me to plant these plants. They both had a spade each and helped to put the compost (not included) into the planter.
Overall, I’m really pleased with both the service received by Suttons and also with the strawberry plants and planter. I also think it’s great value at just £19.99.
