Space Wars! Aerovan Target Blaster Review
We were recently sent a super cool new toy for our girls to review. The Space Wars Aerovane Target Blaster is available on Amazon, and is aimed at children aged four and over.
Inside the box you’ll find everything you need to get started quickly. Some assembly is required, but it’s really quick and easy to put together. Simply slide the leg stands into the main unit, connect the orange wheel then stick the targets on using the attached magnets.
Also included are 12 foam darts and a a holder for the darts which can either be attached to the gun or to your belt. You’ll also need to stick the stickers onto the targets. Each sticker has a number on, so that you know how many points that target is worth.
Once assembled this is what the target wheel looks like.
The gun is lightweight and easy for our girls to hold. To make the gun work you need to pull back the sliding part on top of the gun until it clicks, load the foam dart and then pull the trigger. Unfortunately the girls haven’t quite got enough strength to pull back the sliding part on top, so I have to do this bit for them, but they can load the darts themselves and pull the trigger themselves too.
As you can see in the picture below the clip has been loaded with the foam darts. I really like the clip as it means the darts won’t get lost.
The targets are easy for the girls to attach themselves using the small magnets on the back. The stickers on each target is colourful and the numbers are easy to read.
There is a switch on the back of the unit when flicked to ‘On’ will start the wheel spinning which my girls love, as it gives them more of a challenge when trying to hit the targets!
Overall, we love this game. Our girls play it so much, as do their daddy and I! It’s so much fun!
For the purpose of this review we were sent the above toy. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
