Review: Verve – The multi-nutrient drink that’s more than just ‘greens’

August 1, 2024

As I get older, I’ve come to realise the importance of maintaining healthy habits. In my youth, I never really exercised. Like many teens in the nineties and naughties, I toyed with the idea of keeping fit. There was the occasional gym visit and spontaneous outdoor run, but they were few and far between.

When I hit my thirties, I knew that if I wanted to be around for as long as possible, for my own children, and maybe even for their children, that I needed to make changes. I’d say I was around two stone overweight for my height, and my eating habits were not great.

I decided to start couch to 5k and look at changing my eating habits. Seven years on, I’ve run two half-marathons and even the London Marathon. I’ve lost the excess two stone and my eating habits are so much better than they’ve ever been. That’s not to say I don’t have the occasional take-away treat!

More importantly, what I’ve come to realise is that I am the role model to my nearly teenage daughters. As the old saying goes, ‘Monkey see, monkey do’. Not that my children are monkeys but you get the idea. My healthy eating and fitness habits have definitely influenced my children. They’re both into their various sports and even come running with me. In addition, they have a keen interest in cooking healthy, balanced meals.

With all of that being said though, I’m always looking for new ways that I can add in some extra nutrition. That’s when I discovered Verve.

Verve is a comprehensive multi-nutrient drink from the founder of Myprotein, Oliver Cookson. Made in the UK, it’s set to shake up ‘greens’ nutrition supplements in the vitamins and minerals category. Indeed, more than ‘greens’, it’s a game-changing new product with all your daily nutritional needs in one.

Uniquely, all V80’s ingredients and dosages are listed on-pouch, unlike other greens products – so you know exactly what you’re drinking.

Verve’s V80 combines a wide range of ingredients that work in synergy to provide an easy and convenient way to supercharge your well-being by keeping your energy up, strengthening your immune system and balancing your gut health.

With a vegan-friendly formula approved by a top Nutraceutical & Dietary Supplement Expert and Sports Performance Specialist, V80 has the entire range of vitamins and minerals your body needs daily, together with 36 superfoods and pre & probiotics.

Unlike anything else out there, V80 is 100% transparent about what goes into every sip. No secrets, just daily greens in a single scoop.

You can either place a one-time purchase of £79 or subscribe and save to receive a free premium welcome kit worth £45 included with all first orders (information correct at time of publication and is subject to change).

Unlike other, similar drinks on the market that I have tried, Verve is a lot more palatable! The first sip can be different to what you may expect, but you soon get used to it. It doesn’t really taste of anything in particular and is a great way to start your day alongside a healthy breakfast.

I’ve been drinking Verve every day for a month now and I have definitely noticed a difference in my energy levels. I feel more energetic, less tired and more impressively, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my gut health.

The main thing for me though is the ingredients transparency. This is what makes Verve in the Greens-powder sector, where they can say with 100% certainty that they are offering 100% nutritional density with all of the ingredients. Without any cheap/nasty fillers!

So, if you’re looking for an easy way to add some nutrition into your diet, I highly recommend Verve!
