Review: Organising my life with the Daily Goal Setter Planner by Mal Paper
Life in the 21st century can be pretty hectic especially if you’re a working parent. I’m the first to admit that I struggle at times to juggle parenting, working, chores and finding time for myself.
Some weeks are pretty laid back, but then I have other weeks where there are just aren’t enough hours in the day!
For example, the week before last was hectic. Aside from working Monday-Friday, I also had to find time to do our food shop, clean the house, attend our twin girls school assembly, attend a meeting about my blog, write blog posts and edit the photos to go with them amongst a whole list of other things that I just ended up putting on the back burner.
The thing is when I have to put things off until another day, or in most cases, another week, I feel my mind filling up with all of these things that I need to do and my head ends up buzzing.
Sometimes it feels like it all just gets on top of me and my to do list just keeps getting bigger. I needed to find a way to regain control and feel like I was on top of things again.
For as long as I can remember I’ve kept a goals journey. I use it to write down all of the things I’d like to achieve. For example, running the London Marathon, camping etc. Those are just two things I’ve managed to tick off.
I enjoy writing things down and I am a bit of a stationary lover. So I thought why not write down my daily goals too? Writing down my long term terms has helped me to achieve them, so surely a daily goal setter would help me to feel on top of my everyday tasks?

This beautiful faux leather, softback, daily goal setter planner by Mal Paper is perfect to make my daily goals clearer and to help me be more productive. It’s been designed to help identify your goals and structure your days, which is just what I need! It also helps you to focus on the positive and become more mindful.
The daily goal setter planner features 256 pages and has two ribbon dividers. It also has a handy document holder on the inside back cover.
The planner includes information on how to set goals, become more productive and practise gratitude. The daily gratitude affirmation practise will help you to start your day with a positive mind -set. Plus each daily page has an area for your daily practise.

There’s also an area to write down your long-term, medium-term and short-term goals. It can be useful to refer to these goals at the start of each month or week to help keep you on track.

I really like that the daily goal setter planner is undated. It means you can use start using it at anytime. If you miss a week for any reason you won’t waste any pages. You can also use it as a five or seven day week planner.
This planned has uncomplicated daily, weekly and monthly views allowing you to create your own to do list which is just what I need! There’s also an easy to follow area to prioritise and review your tasks on the daily, weekly and monthly views.

The first few pages are full of information about daily goal setting, morning and evening routines, weekly and monthly routines, as well as information on how to set effective goals.

I also really like the pages with quotes on. My favourite is pictured below.

Another thing I really like about the daily goal setter planner is the section on the bottom of the ‘3 things to be grateful for pages’ that says ‘Great things that happened today’ with a space for you to write something down.

Overall, I think the daily goal planner by Mal Paper is perfect for people like me who have busy leads and need a way of organising their to do lists. I really the affirmations and have found that this planner has definitely helped me to feel more in control.
