It’s something my husband and I were talking about the other and to be honest I think it depends on how much you win.

If I won millions, I’d certainly tell my close family that I’d won some money, but I would probably tell a little white lie about the actual amount and make out that I’d won less than what I actually had.

I’d be sure to help out family in paying off mortgages, buying new houses and of course give them a helping hand with some money in the bank.

Of course to actually have a chance of winning you have to play and that means picking some numbers.

How do you pick yours?

I tend to use a combination of random numbers and numbers that mean something to me.

For example I might use the month that our twins were born or the date that I got married. 

You could even use the digits of your first car registration number or the house number of your first home!

One thing that I never do though is memorise numbers. My husband uses the same lottery numbers each week and that means he feels the need to play every week just in case in his numbers come up!
