I’ve been on a health and fitness mission now for almost two months. Over the last 60 days I’ve learned about what I should be eating and drinking. Before my health kick, I used to drink cans of diet cake like it was going out of fashion.
Of course that’s all changed now and I’ve ditched the cans for water. However, water on it’s own can be pretty flavourless. I like something with a little more flavour so when I was asked to review a few bottles of ProWater I was keen to find out what they tasted like.

Aimed at health conscious consumers looking for quality protein on the go, the drink has been formulated to provide a refreshing alternative to the many “misleading” high protein bars and shakes, which often contain large quantities of less desirable ingredients, alongside the protein their marketing advertises.
ProWater is just 90kcal per 500ml bottle and delivers 20g of high quality protein. ProWater comes in three flavours, Blueberry, Red Berries and Citrus Mint. The great thing about ProWater is that it contains no sugar, carbs, fat or caffeine.
I was sent two bottles of red berries and two of blueberry. The red berries flavour is my favourite. It’s sweet, but not too sweet and is really tasty. The blueberry flavour I found to be really sweet. It is nice though, just a lot sweeter than I’d expected!
ProWater uses a unique blend of the highest quality whey and collagen proteins. It tastes great, is refreshing and is already available in Superdrug and will soon be stocked in TK Maxx, with more stockists to be announced.
ProWater is targeting consumers who may otherwise consider protein bars and shakes, often without realising that they contain hundreds of empty calories from sugar and fat.
Market research found that consumers attempting to eat healthily are often unaware that even premium products contain the ingredients they might be trying to avoid, such as high levels of sugar, carbohydrates and fat.
ProWater can be enjoyed before, during and after exercise, as well as being a great option throughout the day, where alternative low calorie food sources can often be unavailable or inconvenient. ProWater is also a great option for those who just don’t like chalky shakes or find protein bars too heavy to enjoy.
ProWater also donates 10% of all profits funding research into Alzheimer’s and dementia, a commitment made by parent company Brainwave Drinks, leading innovators in healthy beverages.
I really enjoyed these drinks and would definitely buy them again.
For the purpose of this review I was sent four bottles of ProWater. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
