PacaPod Samui Lite Changing Bag Review
I was recently contacted by Pacapod about reviewing their new Samui Lite changing bag.

Pacapod was created by Jaqueline Waggett, a clothing designer and mum of two small girls. She drew on her own experiences to design the unique 3-1-in baby organising system bag.

That may sound pretty obvious but how many times have you rooted around a bag looking for the elusive wipes or a nappy bag only to be confronted with a half-eaten sandwich, Flopsy bunny and handful of raisins? Life’s busy enough with the kids and when everything’s in place it means that we as a family are free to go and do the things we want. It can be something as simple as a trip to the park, playground or more adventurous travels to far-flung places but knowing that I’m organised is one less thing to worry about.

One of the things that I love about changing bags is having a range of different compartments to store everything.
The very first changing bag I bought was a plain, black messenger bag with a big open zip compartment and then it had a smaller front, pocket zip to store things like your phone and keys etc. I bought this bag before our twins were born and it wasn’t until the first time I used the bag that I realised that whilst the different compartments were great, nothing ever stayed in the compartments and I would spend ages rooting around the bottom of the bag to find the one thing I was looking for at that specific moment.
We’ve been using our Pacapod Samui Lite changing bag for a while now and we’ve been very impressed with it for a number of different reasons.
As well as it being great to look at with its stylish, yet lightweight design it also comes with two pods. For the purpose of this review we were also sent an extra travel pod so we had 3 pods in total.
This bucket style bag has plenty of space even with all three pods placed into the bottom. On a recent trip to a science museum with our twins, I used one pod to store a pack of wetwipes and 6 nappies. I then filled another pod with their drink bottles, which are quite big, but they fit perfectly and then the third pod I used to bring some snacks with us.

The three pods fit perfectly into the bottom of the bag and believe it or not in the picture I took below, I’ve also managed to fit in two changes of spare clothes: 2 t-shirts, 2 pairs of jeans and two pairs of socks.
As you can see even with the pods filled up and two changes of clothes, I still have plenty of space left, which came in handy when our girls slept as I could fit in their cuddly toys and cardigans, as well as my jumper and a bag of souvenirs!
At the very front of the bag, you also have a front pocket with some elasticated organiser pockets for you to put your keys, parking ticket, purse and mobile phone. Great if you need to find something quickly.
Just going back to the pods briefly, I think they’re a great idea. They allow to easily find what you’re looking for, plus on a recent trip to our local play group they came in handy when R and M wanted to bring their drinks and cuddly toys with them.

They both loved that they had a bag like Mummy! I think they felt quite grown up!
The Pacapod Samui Lite changing bag is top loading and lightweight. The strap can be adjusted so you can either wear it over your shoulder like a handbag or if you have two little two hands to hold, you can also wear it across your body, which I chose to do on our trip to the science museum.

This changing bag is a new venture for Pacapod as these pods can be folded away when not needed so you can juggle the space according to what your tots need. It also allows you to be versatile when juggling their needs.
It’s available in two different colours, Jewel, which is the one we were sent and Coal (pictured below).
It also comes with a changing mat and two very handy straps so you can easily hang the bag from your pushchair without damaging the handle.
This bag is 34cm x 34cm x 30cm and has a 34 litre capacity plus 8 litres extra including pods. The shoulder strap is 64cm in length and the bag is made from silky smooth microfiber with egg print detail and pebble faux leather trims, with wipe clean bonded pods and mat.
It’s available for £60 from the Pacapod website.

Very nice bag, it's great to see one with so much room in it. I had a pink lining bag and although it was pretty it was on the small side x

I do love my pink lining one, but this one does have more space. I like that this is a bucket style bag so when I do leave the pushchair at home I can easily wear it whilst still holding both girls hands x
