Mila & Pheebs Spring Box Review

My girls and I absolutely love craft activities. It can be something as simple as colouring in or making something out of card boxes and tissue paper!

There’s something quite therapeutic about sitting down and spending a few hours getting creative. Our girls were recently sent a box full of crafty goodness from Mila & Pheebs to review.

The box was addressed to our girls which they loved! There’s something magical to them about having post delivered with their names on it!

The team at Mila & Pheebs are obsessed with all things stationary! From sparkly pens, new shiny paperclips, glossy stickers and the excitement of drawing on a fresh page of a brand new notebook – something I can very much relate too! In addition to this they love fun craft activities, card making and collecting erasers! This is why Mila & Pheebs was born! We received their ‘Spring Box’ in the siblings version. Upon opening their box the girls faces lit up! The bright yellow tissue almost shone out like a ray of sunshine with the contents delicately wrapped inside.

As they explored the various items inside they excitedly talked about what they could see. Inside were:

The first thing M wanted to do was make the butterfly notebook. Inside the kit is a handy instruction leaflet.

M was able to follow the instructions herself and was very pleased with her notebook. Everything you need to make the kit (aside from glue) is included in the kit. This activity was really easy and quick which is perfect for M as she tends to get bored quickly, but she really liked making this!

R decided that she wanted to make a card. It happened to be Mother’s Day so R made me a lovely Mother’s day card! Using her new pencil she wrote inside the card all by herself and then stuck some of the butterfly stickers on the front of the card.

Me and M then completed the word search together, again using her new pencil. The activities inside the box are perfect for a rainy day and will easily last a good few days.

Next up the girls decided that they wanted to make the daffodil and vase. Once again instructions are included and they were so easy for the girls to follow. The thing that I really like about all of the activities is that the girls can do them all by themselves. They’re fun and really easy. The daffodil and vase activity was my favourite and the end result looks great!

Lastly we made the duck wand together. Again the instructions were easy to follow. This one really helps with fine motor skills! Watching the girls carefully sticking the stickers onto the squares on the duck was fun!

Overall, I have to say that I’m very impressed with the spring box from Mila & Pheebs. The contents have been clearly thought out and there was plenty for both of the girls to do.
