Making Chocolate Cake with the VonShef Pink Stand Mixer from DOMU (Review)
Baking is something that I’ve always enjoyed. Whether it’s a cake or perhaps a loaf of bread. There’s something so enjoyable about making something from scratch, plus nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread in the morning!
That’s why, when I was asked by DOMU if I’d like to review one of their stand mixers I jumped at the chance! I chose this pink VonShef Stand Mixer.
I was weighing up which colour to go for. It was a toss up between white or pink, but as you can see pink won!

This stand mixer is just £74.99 and comes with a dough hook, whisk and beater. It’s also very easy to use. Simply attach your desired accessory, pop the splash guard on, plug it in and you’re ready to go!

All you need to do then is turn the dial, which by the way lights up blue when plugged in, to your chosen number, (1-6 depending on how slow or fast you want your mixture to be mixed). There’s also a handy ‘pulse’ option which you use by turning the dial anti-clockwise.
Another great thing about this stand mixer is that the splash guard has a handy ingredient chute. Perfect for if you’ve forgotten to add an ingredient or simply want to add more of something mid-mix.

To lift the top of the stand mixer up, simply use the lever. The bowl also locks into place so it’s nice and secure.

I also really like that the bowl has measurement units inside of it.

Using the stand mixer is really easy, so I thought I’d put it to the test and whip up a deliciously tempting chocolate cake!

I used the whisk attachment to make our cake and it mixed all of the ingredients together really well.

I will just say as well, that the whisk and other attachments are really easy to attach.
Overall, I have to say that this stand mixer is brilliant. It’s easy to use, good value for money and it’s pink!
For the purpose of this review I was sent one stand mixer. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
