Konifer Navigator Watch Review

I love a good watch. So much so that I’ve actually started to build up quite a collection of them. Some of my favourite watches are wooden. They’re lightweight, go with any outfit and I always receive compliments on them.

The Navigator watch by Konifer is no different. Coming in at £103.91, this watch is a little bigger than my usual ones. I actually wondered if it is meant to be a man’s watch. As such I checked the Konifer website and under ‘Women’s Watches’ there’s a ‘Collections’ section. In this section you’ll find ‘Navigator’. Therefore I assumed it to be a woman’s watch, however, the tab on my computer shows it to be a man’s watch as the tab says ‘Two Toned Watch for Men’, but the category on the product page shows: Women’s Watches/Collections/Navigator/Navigator. So I guess perhaps it’s unisex?!

Anyway, aside from being on the larger side to what I’m used to, this watch is very good looking! The two toned look makes this watch very distinctive and attractive. It’s hand crafted from sandalwood and maple. A perfect mix of chocolate brown and blonde.

When it comes to buying a watch I like a one that does a little more than just tell the time. I’m always forgetting what date it is, so the fact that this watch displays the time and date, along with a sporty looking compass dial is spot on! The metallic features and the leaf icon on the face just add to the sleek and stylish feel of the watch. The leaf may also give away the fact that Konifer are a Canadian based company, but they do post items anywhere in the world.

The Navigator watch is ecologically friendly. The renewable wood has been finished in a non-toxic satin oil finish, and is protected by a 5 year warranty.

The watch is easy to do up by simply connecting the two clasps. The website says that the watch will with fir your wrist with an adjustable 8 ¾ , or 222mm band that is 1”, or 24mm wide. I will need to take a link or two out as the watch is a bit loose, but that should be easily and quickly done in any jewellers.

The watch also comes in a nice cardboard box so would make a lovely gift for someone special.

Overall, I’m very impressed with this watch. It’s well made and looks very on trend.
