Festive Fashion! Get your tinsel on!

November 4, 2022

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane! Can you believe it’s November already? I don’t know about you and your local area but here in Cardiff, as soon as the clock struck midnight on the 31st of October and Halloween was over, it appears all of the local shops raided their Christmas stock!

The shelves are full of festive tubs of chocolates and sweets, Christmas decorations and lights, secret Santa gifts and stocking fillers! Yes, there is no escaping the fact that next month is December and that can only mean one thing! Christmas is almost here!

One of my favourite things about the festive season is making plans with my friends to go out for our annual Christmas do. Whether it’s food and dancing or something a bit more bonkers, I just love everything about it! One of my friends always dresses in something festive. It could be a dress covered in reindeers or a hat covered in tinsel!

Festive Fashion

This year I’m going to up my game and join in with some serious festive fashion and what screams Christmas festive fashion more than sequins! You just can’t beat a sequin covered dress at Christmas! Check out these sequin styles! How festive and on-trend is this Valencia High Waist Drape Skirt! If you’re looking for something a little more fun, this Mrs Claus Black Christmas Jumper is just £25. It would look amazing paired with some faux leather leggings and high heels!

Festive Accessories

I always like to go the extra mile with my Christmas outfit so I like to add some Christmas earrings. Last year I bought some from the local supermarket last year and they’re fabulous! I paid around £6 for 3 pairs which includes Santa’s face, candy canes and reindeers! Who doesn’t love festive earrings?

Throw some tinsel in your hair as well and you’re good to go! One thing I will add is that when it comes to your festive makeup, I always think less is more. Go for a simple, natural look and perhaps a bold lipstick or eye-liner but never both! Choose one or the other.

A good hair do is also essential. Whether it be a sleek ponytail or some festive curls, your hair can really help pull a festive look together. How do you celebrate Christmas? Do you have any festive fashion tips? Feel free to share them in the comments below!
