Easter Bonnet Decorating with The Works
I’ve never really done anything Easter related before for our girls, but seeing as they’re three now I thought it would be fun to get involved in some Easter crafts and of course create an ‘egg-cellent’ Easter egg hunt for them too!
With thanks to The Works we’ve been getting our Easter craft on by decorating some fabulous Easter bonnets using The Works Easter crafting range.
We were sent a hamper of Easter crafts to help us get started.
Our hamper included:
- An Easter bonnet
- Hanging Easter decorations
- Chicks
- Tissue paper
- Stickers
- Seasonal ribbons
- Decorative flowers
- Nests with eggs
- Egg hunt set
As we have twins I did have to buy another Easter bonnet so that they could have one each to decorate!
I found that PVA glue works best in getting various things to stick and stay on the bonnets. We started off with some bright, yellow chicks!
R and M both enjoyed this part! Sticking the chicks on and stroking them at the same time! It was really interesting watching them stick the chicks on because they were carefully positioning them on the hat where they wanted them to go.
Next up R and M decided to stick some fluffy nests with eggs in onto their hats, followed by some stickers which included rabbits, chicks, flowers and Easter Eggs.
I then helped R and M to put some funky paper ribbon with Easter eggs on around their bonnets before they proceeded to stick chicks of various colours on top of their bonnets.
Both R and M really enjoyed decorating their bonnets!

Aww look at your sweet girls Emily! I LOVE the concentration on their faces as they're working on their bonnets!! What a lovely idea!
