Disneyland Paris 2018 Trip Report – Marvel Summer of Superheroes. Day Two!

After a very busy and exhausting first day, which you can read about here, day two was definitely a bit more chilled! We woke up feeling rejuvenated from a good nights sleep, but by 1pm we were all exhausted again!

We started the day with a character breakfast in Plaza Gardens. This is a buffet style restaurant just off main street. Breakfast is a mixture of hot and cold foods, including cereals, cheeses etc.

Whilst you’re sitting down, the characters come over to your table so that you can have a photo with them and they can sign your autograph books.

I really like doing the characters breakfasts and lunches because it’s a good way to meet more characters without having to queue up. We met Eeyore, Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Daisy Duck, Piglet and Tigger.

After breakfast we decided to do some of the rides that we didn’t manage to do last year. These include Autopia – how we missed this last year I don’t know! It’s such a fun ride! Two people are seated in a car that follows a track and kids can use the steering wheel to steer the car whilst parents are safe in the knowledge that you won’t come off the tracks even if your child decides to zig zag all over the place!

We also went on Orbitron (a spaceship/rocket ride), Buzz’s Laserblast which we did do last year, and Casey Jr – Le Petit Train du Circque which is a train ride behind Alice’s Curious Labyrinth.

We were also hoping to go on Le pays des Contes de Fees, but it was temporarily closed. However, just as we came off the train ride, we spotted Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, so we decided to join the queue to meet them.

Whilst we were queuing the heavens decided to open! Luckily before our trip I bought the girls a new raincoat each and waterproof trousers.

After meeting Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, we headed back to the Disneyland Hotel to change into some dry clothes and then we headed over to Chey Remy in the studios for lunch. I had carrot and gingerbread soup for starters which was amazing, followed by ravioli (also amazing), and tiramisu for dessert which was so tasty!

After lunch, exhaustion had well and truly taken hold of us so we headed back to our hotel for a much needed nap!

When we entered our hotel we spotted some more pixie dust (a random act of kindness)! Winnie the Pooh had left us a note and some tasty treats!

After our nap, we went over to Inventions for dinner. We didn’t realise until we were seated that this was a character dinner!

We met Captain Hook, Eeyore and Mickey again, as well as Goofy, Pluto and Minnie Mouse.

After our busy day on the previous day, we decided to have an early night!

Keep tuned next week for Day 3!
