Confident You: Diet & Fitness Feature
Being a mum is without a doubt one of the most wonderful, yet stressful jobs in the world. We all want the best for our children, but sometimes we’ll take the easy option and give them something that makes them happy and settled such as a dummy or some chocolate instead of persevering with other options.
It’s important to give your children and yourself the best diet and active lifestyle that you can. Mamas & Papas recently spoke to 2,000 new and experienced mums to find out how parenting has impacted their diet and fitness. Did you know that 69% of young mums put health and exercise to the top of their New Year’s resolutions lists? I’m one of those mums that does and this year I’ve definitely been more active than ever before, even if I do need to work on my diet a bit better!
The infographic below has been produced by Mamas & Papas and offers some interesting insight into the diet and fitness lifestyles of parents. Read on to find out more.

This is so interesting. It got me thinking about my mum…before myself and my younger siblings came along she was very active. She swam, run, played basketball in a team…but she actually stopped all this when we came along which is such a shame. This was back in 1995 (when I was born) and only in the last few years has she started to become active again. These days there is so much more emphasis on health and fitness and how important it is for new mums…it's a good thing! 🙂 really interesting post!! 🙂 xx

I'm not a mom and I don't want kids, but I think its great to look after yourself. Nothing wrong with a bit of exercise x
