It’s customary for the ones who pass away to be given the dignity of being dressed in smart clothes. For men, it’s usually a suit, and for women, it’s almost always a dress. You don’t have to necessarily buy these clothes brand new. If the loved one had a sentimental pair of clothes and had an emotional connection with them, this is by far the best choice. If there are tears and rips, it’s questionable whether you should sow them up because it would taint the authenticity of them. However to make sure that although you haven’t shelled out on new clothes, you’re not skimping on nice clothes by fixing up any impurities and giving them a good clean. Once they’re washed, and any imperfections have been fixed, they should make for a respectable outfit to lie in.

There are so many things that need to be done for the funeral day. You have to think about the coffin that will be the final resting bed for the deceased. The minister is also important so that the last rites are read out before they are sent off for burial. The option of cremation is also there but needs to be done in a controlled environment, therefore only professionals can be contacted. The hearse itself will need to be booked to transport the body to the church which also needs to be booked in advance. All this and more has to be done. However, not everyone has the funds to get the best of the best. It’s then, wise to look for funerals on a budget. There are multiple plans to choose from which all have different tiers of quality. The various tiers have their selling points, but the basic package is also great as the necessities have been taken care of. The clothes are your choice, but the rest of the ceremony should be done to a professional standard.
