Christmas Crafts with Baker Ross

I love doing craft activities with our girls so when we received a box of Christmas craft supplies from Baker Ross we were pretty pleased and excited!
If you’re not familiar with Baker Ross, they’re a family owned and run business that was co-founded in 1974 by Patti Baker. Their innovative ideas have led to them becoming one of the leading suppliers of arts & crafts to schools, playgroups and organisations in the UK. 
They sell a range of craft supplies including paint, card making kits, craft boxes, stickers and lots more! They currently offer over 4,000 items through their website and catalogues.
Inside the box that we were sent were:
  • Snowflake stampers (£3.99 for a pack of 10)
  • Christmas stampers (£3.99 for a pack of 10)
  • Six ready mix paint bottles (From £7.99)
  • Festive fingerprint card kit (£3.49 for a pack of 10)
  • Christmas wreath fingerprint photo frame kit (£3.49 for a pack of 6)
  • Penguin foam stickers (£2.99 for a pack containing 120 stickers)
  • Christmas ceramic tea light holders (£3.96 for a pack of four)

The first activity that our girls wanted to do was painting the Christmas ceramic tea light holders.

As mentioned above this is a pack of four which costs £3.49, which I think is a superb price! The tea light holders had stars, christmas trees and angel shaped holes on.

We got our paint ready – I like to use a cake tray so that I can pop a bit of each colour into each hole! As you can see our girls loved painting the tea light holders!

I had only planned for the girls to paint one each as I was going to save the other two for another day, but they enjoyed this activity so much that they wanted to paint them all!

This was a great activity that was lots of fun! You could also use the tea light holders as gifts for family and friends once your children have painted them. Why not accessorise them with some glitter too?

Sticker Picture Scenes


Next up was sticker time! Our girls love stickers and they’ll either use them to stick onto their toys and magazines or to make pictures. We love these cute little foam penguin stickers!

We started off by drawing some icebergs for us to stick the penguins on!

This pack of stickers contains 120 stickers of different designs. There are penguins with ice skates, scarves, hats and even twin penguins which our girls thought was great!

R and M both enjoyed creating their sticker pictures.

The main thing that I like about foam stickers is that they tend to be super easy for children to be able to peel the backs off themselves.

Once you’ve finished your picture you can even stick them on yourself!

Festive Fingerprint Cards


These festive fingerprint card kits are absolutely brilliant! They’re a really simple idea, yet our girls loved doing them!

In each kit you’ll get 10 cards with various designs on.
You’ll also get four stamps of different colours.
The idea is to decorate the cards with your fingerprints.
I had a go myself and really enjoyed it!
Here is one of the girls cards. They started off using their finger prints and then decided to rub the stamps along the cards!
Christmas Wreath Fingerprint Decoration Kits

I love this kit because you can either keep them for yourself or give them to family members as a gift. Inside this kit you’ll find all of the pieces needed to make six christmas wreaths.
To start off, children can use the stamps to decorate the wreaths with their fingerprints.
They’ll then need to stick on the red, glittery stickers which our girls liked a lot because they were sparkly!
Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to cut some photos pretty small so that they fit onto the wreath and then stick them onto the circular ‘backing’. This is really sticky and the idea is that you stick the photo in the middle and then stick the front of the wreath (the part you’ve just decorated with fingerprints and stickers) onto the ‘backing’ so that your photo is in the middle.
Lastly, you just need to add a ribbon so that your decoration can be hung from a Christmas tree.

    What lovely crafting kits. I love the xmas card one. Great way of the children to make special cards for Grandparents and other family.
    The wreaths would look good hung on tree, something to keep to remind you of how much the children have grown.

    This looks great! I have never bought anything from baker ross but Mia is just getting interested in art and crafts so no doubt I will be popping over to the website soon! I love the tea-light holders and your girls look like they had great fun! 🙂
