Brilliant Mum Feature

This week our brilliant mum feature is Gail from Yammy Mommy.

Gail is 37 years old, lives in Dudley with her husband, Stuart, and Finley who’s 3. Gail works part time in Birmingham for a PR firm. She likes going for days out with her boys and in her spare time enjoys blogging, baking and box sets!

Thanks for taking part Gail!

Have you always wanted to be a mum?

Yes it’s always been part of the grand plan!

How did you feel when your children were born?

Exhausted, emotional and in pain. I had an induction with ended up in a ventouse delivery. But totally in love and amazed at how quickly instinct kicked in.

What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?

Watching him become a really kind caring person. He’s always thinking if others even at such a young age.

What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?

Me and my husband get in to bed and chat about his crazy sayings and mannerisms and end up in stitches most nights! I think sometimes it’s the hard days you have to learn to laugh at. The tantrums in the shops and the ‘mommy have you done a poo?!’ Said loudly in public toilets!

Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?

Potty training. 18 months in and still struggling. Hands down hardest part of parenting for us.

What are your dreams and hopes for your children?

That he grows up in a fair society with great opportunities for all. That he is respectful, hard working and kind..

You can find Gail online here.

If you’ve been featured as a brilliant mum and would like to share this badge on your blog, please do!
