Brilliant Mum Feature Week 29
Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.

This week our brilliant mum feature is Lianne from Mrs Mummy Harris. Lianne lives in Essex with her hubby and Ben who will be one next month! She joined the 30 club last year and says that so far she’s loving it because it feels like being older gives you a sense of comfort and contentment in who you are. Lianne has been blogging for 7 months and says that it’s the hobby that she lives and breathes for (other than family of course).

Have you always wanted to be a mum?
Always, I actually wanted four kids, but after one I think that a second will be a long way off!!
How did you feel when your children were born?
I felt so relieved! Having a 90 hour labour where most of that I couldnt get past 1cm due to the most agonising back pain. I have a prolapsed disc that just decided to flair up making my whole body lock with every contraction. Unfortunately, I immediately felt scared after a few seconds as Ben wasnt breathing on his own so ended up in NICU for a week. Luckily there’s no long term damage!
What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Everything Ben does that we show him is rewarding. He currently is starting to walk holding one of my hands which i’ve really been encouraging and it’s amazing to know I helped someone learn to walk!
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
Well the first time I held him he pooed on my hand! That was pretty hilarious!
Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
I’ve previously mentioned about my struggles with PND, but with the right support network it is something I’m seeing the light with and hoping that i’m on the back end of it!
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
To be happy. I dont care what they do in life, just as long as they are happy doing it.
