March, I hope, has started a lot better than it did last year. I feel like we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve been looking ahead to the summer and have rather optimistically rebooked our cancelled camping holiday from 2020. We’re keeping our fingers firmly crossed that we can go.
It’s only for three nights, but it will be a nice change of scenery. After all, like most of the country, we’ve been stuck indoors staring at the same four walls for the majority of the past year!
Self-Contained Motorhome Holidays
I think for us, and a lot of other people, self-contained holidays are very much the way forward for the foreseeable. The benefits of camping are that you have everything you need on hand. You’re in your own accommodation. You don’t have to share a lift with anyone else and naturally with everything going on in the world at the moment that’s a big bonus.
The same can be said for a motorhome holiday. While we do love camping, I look back at our camping trip to Tenby. It was very wet! Our tent, which by the way is fabulous, held up well and kept us dry, but I couldn’t help thinking that we may have been more comfortable, and would have had more room in a motorhome.

The Adamo 69-4 has the classic motorhome design of a double bed above the driver’s cab and another just below. Having the doubles positioned like this gives this Adamo space for a huge bathroom that sits across the entire rear of the vehicle.
At the other end of the design spectrum is the 74-4DL. This Adamo has two lounge areas at either end of the vehicle that both transform into double beds. This is an ideal layout for more privacy, and the rear U-shaped lounge makes a great entertainment space during the day.
Finally, the 75-4I offers the best of both worlds. This Adamo has a bathroom that sits across the centre of the vehicle – with Jack & Jill doors – and a fixed double bed at the rear in a luxurious bedroom.
With this much choice, it’s hard to decide which Adamo to go for!

The Future of Holidays
For us. the future of holidays will mean staying in the UK. The thought of going on an aeroplane any time soon doesn’t appeal.
