AD| How your mobile phone can you help you to explore the world
Travelling the world is now easier than ever before and that’s down to a few different reasons.
For starters, back in May of this year the number of flights using British skies on one day reached an all-time high of 9,000. That’s more than six per minute, exceeding the previous record of 8,854 set on 25 May 2018.
In addition flying is now more affordable than it’s ever been, especially with the rise in budget airlines and comparison sites such as Sky Scanner which help you to find the cheapest and best deal on your airfare.

Before our children were born my husband and I went on lots of city breaks. We explored Rome, Valencia, Barcelona, Marrakech and many other beautiful and historic places.
Nowadays are holidays are more focussed around our children. In recent years we’ve been to Disneyland Paris, Menorca, Majorca, and this year we’re planning some UK camping breaks.
Finding the perfect holiday really is easy when you have a smart phone. I used to do the majority of my research on a laptop, but nowadays I turn to my phone.
As the saying goes, the world really is at your fingertips. At the touch of a button on your mobile phone you can search for your perfect holiday destination, book a flight and accommodation, as well as a VIP lounge or car rental all from your smart phone.
When you’ve arrived at your chosen destination, you use location services on your device to find the nearest restaurant or tourist attraction, and if you find that you need some emergency cash when abroad you search the internet on your mobile smart phone for websites such as Cash Lady who can offer you a short term loan with the money being in your bank account sometimes on the same day.
On a recent weekend break to Somerset, we used our mobile phones to find out what attractions were nearby. Mobile phones really can help you to explore the world around you!
