Check The Lights
Driving at night? Even if you’re not, you should be checking the lights on your car. Traveling through the day, you could still run into a bad spot of weather that makes conditions on the road difficult, to say the least. To check the tyres, switch them on and walk around your car. If they’re all on, you’ll know that people will always be able to see you on the road. Gas In The Tank?
Make sure you have plenty of gas to get you and your family from A to B. You can always stop along the way, but when you’re a parent you can get distracted and completely forget. If you make sure you have enough gas before you set off, you won’t have to worry about that at all.
Safe And Secure
If you have little ones, you must make sure that you are using a safety seat that is completely secure. The modern safety seats click directly into the car, facing the back. Some parents hate this because it means they can’t see their little ones in the mirror and that’s totally understandable. Luckily, you can get plastic mirrors you can stick to the seat the baby is facing so you can check that they are fast asleep in the back. Either that or one of the parents can volunteer to sit back there with them.
