A night in with Moana

‘Moana, make way, make way!’

Ah, ever since I took our twin girls to see Moana in the cinema, I’ve had the catchy songs stuck in my head and I love it! If you haven’t yet seen Moana, then I must urge you to go and see it!

It’s funny, sad, upbeat, colourful and just brilliant! Moana is fearless, brave and knows her own mind, much like our girls, so it’s no surprise that they love Moana as much as they do!

We were recently sent some Moana goodies from Jakks Pacific so that we could have our very own #MoanaNightIn. We were sent the singing Moana feature doll (£34.99), Moana’s magic necklace (£9.99) and a Moana dvd (£9.99).

The singing Moana feature doll comes with her loyal pet pig Pua and her rooster friend Heihei.

Heihei was one of our favourite characters in the movie! He made us laugh so many times with his clumsy, dopey ways!

Going back to the Moana doll, I absolutely adore her ‘big’ eyes! They really add character to her face! The Moana doll is very much like Moana in the film. She’s easily recognisable and is dressed the same way as she is in the film.

When you push Moana’s shell necklace you can hear her say actual movie phrases and she sings her song ‘How Far I’ll Go’. The necklace also magically lights up and is easy for kids to press.

On the back of the doll, you can find a switch which has three positions, ‘O-One’, ‘X – Off’ and ‘T-Demo’.

We were also sent Moana’s magic necklace. Ever since we saw Moana, both of our girls wanted to have a necklace like Moana.

The iconic blue shell necklace is made from plastic. Open it up to discover the Heart of Te Fiti! Itwith magically lights up when opened and reveals a soft green glow. You can also press the button on the back of the necklace when closed to light it up.

We had a lovely #MoanaNightIn and really enjoyed playing with the Moana doll and necklace.
