I was tagged by Mother Distracted to take part in the ‘5 life lessons I want to share with my children’ meme.
Here we go!
Don’t rush!
You have plenty of time to grow up, get married, have kids etc. Don’t ever think that your time is running out. Enjoy life before you settle down. Go travelling, experience the world and all it has to offer. Make mistakes, but make sure you learn from them. When the time comes to settle down, if that’s what you want, you’ll be glad that you took the time to have fun and didn’t rush into growing up!
Have savings!
A really boring life lesson, but a very important one. Be sensible with money. Always put a bit away for emergencies or rainy days. You never know when it’ll come in handy.
Be honest and kind
Treat others the way you want to be treated with honesty and kindness. Though not everyone in life will be honest and kind to you, you can be honest and kind to them. I truly believe in karma and that everything happens for a reason.
Follow your dreams
Follow your dreams, your passions, your goals! Never give up on them. They might take you to some truly inspirational places or offer you some amazing experiences.
Be yourself
Never let anyone try to change you. You’re you and you’re wonderful because you are you. Always be true to yourself and look after yourself.
