If you are looking to beat the heat this summer, take a trip to Antalya, Turkey. This fast-growing city on the shores of the Aegean Sea will allow you to eat ice cream on the beach and spend plenty of time playing in the water. The Monteverde Cloudforest Biological Reserve offers endless opportunities to spot wildlife, and the flora is lush as can be. When you’ve finished your adventure and are ready to eat, you can check out an array of delicious restaurants. I’d recommend trying the rice and beans – a staple in Costa Rican cuisine. As someone who has been to this destination before, I can tell you that a family holiday to Costa Rica will be completely unforgettable.
Reykjavík, Iceland
Your kids will be in awe when they experience the colourful dance of the Northern Lights for the first time in Reykjavík, Iceland. This vibrant capital is the northernmost in the world and offers countless opportunities for day trips.
