Meningitis: Do you know what to look for?

When I think of meningitis, the first thing that comes to mind is a rash. In particular a rash doesn’t disappear when pressure is applied to it. However, there are actually lots of other symptoms that you should look for and by all means I can’t stress this enough – DO NOT WAIT FOR A RASH! Meningitis

Although I did know you or your son, my thoughts are with twin daddies friend, who sadly lost his 8 year old son to meningitis and his 10 year old is still critically ill in hospital. Please hold your children tight, give them an extra long cuddle and kiss tonight, for he will never will be able to do this again.
